The BRMBC14MM is 14 mm 180 grit Flex Brake Cylinder Hone.
When you need to replace a cylinder hone, go for a flex hone like the 14mm BRMBC14MM. This 180 grit hone is flexible for getting into awkward places and will work on all cylinder sizes up to 14mm. Thanks to the high quality bonded abrasive it's made from, your cylinder will be silky smooth in no time.
The BRMBC14MM flex brake cylinder hone was designed for machines, such as the BRMBC27A 150mm concave polisher or the BRMBC35A 6 inch flexible shaft. However, it is also ideal for any need where a major angle is difficult to achieve. The one inch diameter 120 grit and 180 grit wheels allow for easy handling with less hand fatigue and faster finishing results. The flex shaft design allows the operator to extend their reach by up to three feet while maintaining full contact with the work piece.
Keep your brake calipers in tip top shape with this Flex Hone. The flexible long handle is designed to reach hard to get to brake calipers allowing you to properly remove any rust or scale and give the brake pistons a smooth, clean seat.
This flex hone is used to refine the finish on hydraulic cylinders that have initial end or cross grooves. This tool is a must for all brake repair shops. The 180 grit size has been designed for applications where the cylinder bodies have had previous runs with a course hone, and would require refining with a finer hone before running the brake in.
