This tool is a 10-1/2" long, arbor designed for standard bore sizes up to 4.12" and for the majority of standard light weight spindles on block cylinder engines. This dual end BRM-HP4 will allow the operator to reduce larger bores while also finishing smaller bores. The low profile dual end design allows the operator to hone up to 4.12" from each side of the tool at one setting.
The FLX-HONE(R) is designed to meet the rigorous demands of high quality honing. It displays the same qualities as our conventional cylindrical hones: long life, consistent precision and superior surface finish. Now we have extended its capabilities to take us even further. The basic operating concept remains unchanged with one exception: the FLX-HONE(R) has two grits permanently bonded to a solid steel base. These hones have better edge-holding ability, better durability and they require less honing effort than conventional blocks.
