SOLDER, ACID FLUX CORE, 40/60
The Firepower FPW1423-1108 1423-1108 Acid Flux Core 40/60 Solder, 1/8-Inch x 1/4-Pound is a product that was designed to give us many different benefits. This solder is pre-coated with flux for fast flow and easy wetting. It is a fire resistive flux core solder wire that has a rosin core that allows for better soldering performance. This product comes in a reclosable plastic container which keeps the product fresh.
Firepower 1423-1108 series are high quality solder alloys. It has Excellent wetting and fluxing properties, Good electrical conductivity, and Corrosion resistance. The ACID FLUX CORE solder alloys also feature low melt viscosity, flow well to fill voids and provide a smooth finish on the solder joint.
The Firepower FPW1423-1108 1/8" x 1/4" Acid Flux Core Solder is designed with a flux core to provide the operator with better results when soldering than when using an ordinary solid core solder wire. It is made of 60% copper and 40% tin, and contains 3% phosphorus. This solder works well on steel, iron, stainless steel, brass and more. This solder comes in a cartridge and features an acid core for stronger adhesion than other flux cored solder...
1423-1108 Acid Flux Core Solder, 1/8 Inch x 1/4 Pound
Our 1/8" x 1/4" 40/60 Solder Wire has been high fluxed to be used with tin, zinc, and alloys for soldering electrical circuits in small electronic rubber components (Fitters should use flux with rosin core solder only.). Solder is a mixture of metals that melts at relatively low temperatures. When the parts to be soldered are heated to melting point, the solder flows through the spaces between them and joins them to form an inseparable electrical and mechanical bond.
This is a solder with flux core, which is a form of high-grade rosin designed for soldering and brazing. The flux in the solder works with the heat to protect the welded area from oxidation. This product can be used on ferrous and nonferrous metals, except aluminum, titanium, magnesium, platinum, or silver. It provides an economical means of soldering wire and cable splices, metals, pipes and tubing. It meets all requirements for FDA approval when soldering food contact applications.
If you are looking for a tool that makes it easy to pick up a soldering pen or nozzle, you have just found one. This small yet elegant device has an idler wheel which ensures that the solder wire remains straight and tangle-free. It is versatile and amazingly simple. To use it, simply insert the solder wire of your choice firmly into the flux core.
