Dye Injector - R12 & R134a

R12 & R134a dye Injector. Suitable for all 12oz cans and 10lb tanks.

The FJC Dye Injector has been designed to meet the requirements of the automotive and HVAC service industries by providing a basic, affordable and reliable dye injector. This dye injector will safely and accurately inject both R12 and R134a dye into either refrigerant system.

FJC's Dye Injector allows the mechanic to easily spot leaks. It makes it simple to remove and install valves and fittings. The injector features a high-impact polymer pump body, an adjustable pressure switch to regulate injection time and flow rate, and the ability to select between R12 and R134a dyes.

FJC Dye Injector for R12 Systems are essential for checking component and circuit integrity before and after the use of repair kits. The dye injector is compatible with R12 systems only, and will not work properly if used on R134a systems.

The FJC Dye Injector is designed for intermittent duty on R-12 and R-134a manifold systems. The FJC Dye Injector appears to be a leak to the system that can temporarily be patched with a trouble light. When plugged into the leak it injects a dye-like substance into the system. This dye is invisible when first injected but becomes visible at the next system pressure increase.

Inject dye into your refrigerant line to check for leaks. Quick and easy to use, no special training required. Safe and non-toxic dye will not damage R12 or R134a equipment. Needle assembled from S.S. wire with 360 degree swivel fitting for better injecting and cleaning the refrigerant line.

Dye Injectors have been designed to provide an indication of where the refrigerant leaks are in a system. Indicator dye is injected into the Air Conditioning, Refrigeration or Heat Pump system and will show on the service technician's digital camera. Each kit contains four injectors; a small tube including a plastic adapter set with caps for each end which are used to connect between the compressed AC system and an air line compressor. They are easy to use – just plug into the service port, turn on the air, and start to take pictures.
