Loops are designed to slip easily over the rounded rail and soft, yet strong webbing feature heat-sealed ends. These suspension products have a safety factor of 2:1, which means that the potential energy before failure is twice the weight of the attendant. This safety factor can help ensure that an individual remains attached to a lifeline when the first support is no longer available.
