The 3/32" Pilot Punch is design to punch a hole in sheet metal without damaging the material. The flat nose on the tool, eliminates the mushroomed edges that are common with solid chisels. It is made from top grade high carbon steel and heat treated for long life. It consists of two parts - a shank and punch. The shank is fitted to the tool holder and the pilot punch is held in place by setting into a pre-drilled hole in the work. The punch can be knocked out or changed if desired.
