This plug is a standard H style brass 1/4" NPTF coupler plug used in the garden industry. It is rated for use in potable water and any non corrosive liquids where toxic chlorine levels are not present. The MIL1840 contains the pressure tested O-ring seal and has a hex shaft to accommodate the proper tool for installation.

This 1/4 FNPT H Style plug fits into a 3-1/8" ID coupler and provides a 1/4 FNPT hole for attaching a hose. Ideal for marine applications and, although not required, for potable water applications to meet ANSI/NSF 61.
