The OTC3630 battery powered continuity tester is a portable solution for troubleshooting wiring issues in the field. It detects shorts, opens, and breaks in both conductor pairs of circuits including the phase conductors. The internal microprocessor automatically compares the detected phase to phase values to determine if all four conductor pairs have continuity or if an open or break is found between two of the conductor pairs. This eliminates the need to check multiple wires against each other using a test light (multimeter will still be required where contactors are being tested).
