The Port-A-Cool FloatSwitch-Kit is an automatic pump shut off switch for portable evaporative coolers and swamp coolers. It will prevent damage to pumps and motors caused by overfilling, over heating, or pump cavitation.

The Port-A-Cool® FLOATSWITCH-KIT is designed for the Porta-Cool Electric and the Porta-Cool Portable Evaporative Coolers (the Red Model with the Fan). The FLOATSWITCH-KIT automatically switches off the pump when the water level in the tank reaches a preset level. The pump automatically turns on when the water level is low enough again.

Port-A-Cool Float switch adds a safety feature to the cooler by automatically turning off the pump when the water level is to low. The float switch can be set so the pump will turn off when the water is down to a specific level (usually not less than 1 inch). Also available in an ON/OFF version for units with a line cord.
