A 20-pound tank of R134a is primarily used to charge automotive air conditioning systems with 134a refrigerant. This tank will deliver approximately the same amount of cooling to your car as a 30 lb tank when drawn down to 80%. This 50# refrigerant is for use in vehicles made since 1990 and most new light trucks and vans, including Ford, GM and Chrysler (FACTA compliant). It is not suitable for earlier vehicles which are not compatible with the updated blend of 134a – including Toyota, Nissan/Datsun, Honda and all VWs.

Our ROB34750 50# R134a tank is suitable for use with liquid line heat pumps, chillers, and refrigerators/freezers. The 22.5"L x 6-3/4"W x 9-1/8"H tanks are designed to meet or exceed DOT 279-F and DOT 2818 requirements when filled with R134a refrigerant. - Aluminum alloy construction for durability - Hose connections 1"NPT flare fitting on top of cylinder - Valve includes a pressure relief valve to prevent tank from overheating
