The TH456 adapter by Thexton Mfg Company Inc is a simple part that can be used to convert your GM 46lb ignition coil to a direct battery hook-up. The GM coil has 3 terminals with the center terminal providing battery voltage when there is no voltage present at the 2 remaining terminals. This part solves your problem by using the center terminal as a direct battery hook-up and uses the 2 outside terminals to provide voltage to your spark plug wires.

This product is a GM engine coil adapter kit for X-Series LS Engines.

This adapter can be used on 1975 and newer GM engines that use a single coil for the distributor. This is not just a "cheap" reproduction, it is high quality!
